Head and Cam or Forced Induction?

Well which route would be the best way to go to get some good power and still have a reliable car? Also which is the better "bang for the buck"? Im about to get an LS1 and was j/w which way would be best to go. Ls1 is stock except for long-tubes and GMMG exhaust and is an A4 by the way. Any help is appreciated.

My goals are 390-400rwhp and i would really like to stay N/A with the head/cam but if this is an unrealistic goal going the N/A route than just tell me and i can lower it.

Re: Head and Cam or Forced Induction?

blower on stock internals is asking for trouble. You'll be puking rods in no time unless you baby the car, and then what's the point of a blower? All bolt-ons and a cam alone will get you ~ 375-400 rwhp depeing on the cam.
