have you painted your engine bay black?
I have seen some ls1's with the engine bay black , did they come that way or did you paint it, if you painted it what did you have to do to get to everything?

was the car you saw this done on originally black cause that is one possible way. the other way is to remove everything from engine compartment and start from there.
