Dayum! For $300, it better work!

I just don't know about that. I'd be more inclined to go with the $100 lid and the free-ram-air.

If you will look at the picture of the lid, note the area where the air flows from the lid, through the MAF and into the throttle body. Instead of being more or less a straight line with little restriction to flow it is almost S shaped in that the air has two different turns to make before reaching the intake manifold. Apparently this offsets the gains from having a larger filter area. After a few were sold and dynoed they showed no gain over a conventional lid. So people quit buying them.
