Gutted cats + cut-out = big smiles

Gutted my cats on Sunday...man o man is it loud. The exhaust is so open you can hear the lope from the stock cam!! I am ordering my G5 cam this week so I think I'm gonna have to cap the cut-out then and only open it at the track. As far as power I picked up some top end cause it pulls a little harder now!

Well I had a friend help me and he has a lift in his garage which makes it alot easier, but it took a us a few hours. The y-pipe was easy to drop, just undo the bolts and the O2 sensors and it comes right down. The driver side cat is easy to get to. The passenger side we had to cut the pipe before the cat (pain in the *** because its double walled). Then when we were done we just welded it up.

I've got a set of gutted cats in my garage right now, just waiting for my O2 sims to come in.

A friend of mine did a full exhast from headers to tips, so I got the cats for free. I gutted them out and will swap them when the sims come in.
