Thats cool that its just the thicker ring gear . I thought you needed the new carrier. Since you are hooked up on the labor you cant lose. Down here they are getting 300 bux to install gears .I actually just picked up 3.73 gears for my car but ive had the 3.23`s and ive gotten to low 11`s N/a with them and I hate to have to change em but im running out of things to do . Ive just been looking for a good place for installs. I guess we are doing it opposite you are doing gears first im doing them last. I guess we all end up doing them at sometime. If you get a chance check out the converters . They make a huge improvemment on A4`s. Its the best mod for the buck you can do. Plus your dad can install it at no charge so thats even better.

offaxis: low 11's N/A? Not bad. I'd like to have my car running that one day! A stall converter is something that I'm not opposed to, but like I said, they're not cheap, so it's something that I'd look at down the road. I could probably even install it myself, but the gears I absolutely refuse to go near, cause guaranteed I'd f*** something up! In your sig, you've got "dual exhaust" listed.........you mean true duals?? Custom I'm assuming?? Got any pics.....that's what I'd like to do as well. Again.........one day!

Hey pete

I have hooker LT`s to a 3 inch x pipe then goes to 2 1/2 in mufflers then out through tail pipes that go under the rear. IT alittle differnt than most peoples and very quiet.


i used to have a 3 in y pipe into borla cat back which was pretty good also.
