I use Syntec.. I hope there's no big difference..

I use Syntec 0w30 Euro Imported....and I hope THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE! It should be fully synthetic - not sh!tty dyno oil!

GM recently revised their oil specifications due to all of the oil consumption issues with the Gen III V8 engines. Personally I believe it's more a move to cover their butts than Castrol GTX being a poor quality product. It's still considered a recommended oil for other GM engine lines!
