You should be able to just slip it in there... Why? Is there a problem installing it? Your GFX should clear that easily.. or simply get a longer Rubber hanger if its touch the GFX

I have a loudmouth with ground effects, I ordered it with the 3.5" tips and I couldn't get them to fit, I got a set of 2.5" duals and with a bit a work I got them to fit with about 1/8" on the passenger side, no problems on the driver side. My solution was to not push it into the y-pipe all the way, so it would clear the gfx and still not hit the suspension.
