Is there a specific code in my VIN that tells me my gear setup? Or does the SS come with 3.42's?

 

There should be a code on the inside of your door that starts with GU . Tell me what the number is after the GU and I can tell you what your dif is.

 

the heck with the code thing. if its a 6 speed it has 3.42's. if its an auto it has 3.23's

this is Assuming its an SS, from your original post it sounds like it is, if its not an SS there is one other possibility (2.73'S)
