Question Gapping of TR55 Spark Plugs

Hi everyone;

I am going to have my stock plugs changed with a set of TR55, and I notice that they come gapped at .050. I believe the stock plugs are gapped at .060.

Do I need to re gap the TR55's to the stock specs?

Thanks in advance.

Just out of curiosity did you get the standard TR55's or the iridium TR55-IX?

I got the standard ones, I only drive this vehicle 3000 miles a year, so the copper plugs should last me at least 3 yrs.

I left my Tr55's alone when I ran them, and they ran great. Better then the stock plugs at its gap IMO. I have tr6's now and there gapped at .038.
