Anybody running medium sized cam like the G5x2 (232/240 112+4 XE-R) with the PAC 1518 beehive springs?

Seems to be mixed reviews on these springs with XE-R lobes. Browsing over at LS1tech it seems a couple people recommend for and against; but nowhere do I find anybody that had problems either...

130# at 1.800 installed; I could shim them 0.015" to add some seat pressure and still have plenty of space for the lift on the exhaust which I believe is about .610".

Anybody got any ideas?

 

Use the Patriot Gold set for around $255 for springs, titanium retainers, locks, etc included. Good for .650 lift. I wouldn't use beehive springs for much, regardless of how good they look on paper.
