Funky Moaning Noise

My z28 makes this weird noise turning, faint during left turns and loud turing tight right turns. My mechanic drove it around, found the noise I was describing, checked out the suspension and couldn't find anything.. they're pretty sure it's coming from the differential .. You guys know what it could be?

Hard to describe the noise sounds almost like a rubbing/moaning noise.

Read this thread ... http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...t=differential
sounds just like my problem but my mechanic changes out my fluids on a regular basis.

This is what I think it is, there are two excessivly large hampsters in your trunk. Now, they are 'doing it'. The reason that the noise is louder when you turn this way and that is because the male hampster is on the right side, and the female on the left. When you turn right its louder cause the male is forced upon the female which makes 'it' go in deeper and his front legs scrape against the hampster bewbies. Hope that helps!
