Front suspenion issue
During a snow storm, I spun out and hit the curbside from the front of my vehicle. Afterwards I had a harsh grinding noise from the front (especially when I turn to the left) and it drove like a tractor. I continued to drive and noticed 1 month later that my front tires were wearing down unevenly. There was excessive wear on the outer edges. Yesterday I got a wheel alignment and new tires for the front...however the grinding noise is still there. The drive is still pretty ruff. The only differance now is that I have to get up to ~50-55 mph to hear the noise. What else should I check? Could a suspenion part be bent?
Ok....replaced the wheel bearing on the side where I hear the noise the most which was the left. When I jacked the car up, I spun the wheel (left side) and it didn't move as freely as the right side so I figured maybe the left bearing is bad. Got every thing done...went out on the interstate...everything was fine...until i got up to around 60 mph. The noise came back on the left side again. It's no where near as bad as it was but it's there.
Could I have a bent wheel perhaps??? Should I swap out the right bearing as well??? What else could it be???
