I have a 2000 Z28. Almost from day one I have had a rattle that comes from the front end. It is usually only noticeable at very low speeds (5-10 mph) going over bumpy pavement.

The Chevy mechanic says its related to the design of the brake pads, is not dangerous, and may be hard to get rid off.

Anyone else have quirky brake pads?
