GM is not known for admitting problems... even when they do, it's stuck on some obscure TSB that none of the dealers even know about. You usually have to find something through the internet...

Is it regarding engine knock and the possible overboring of one of the cylinders (#7 or #8)? There's been the odd prob with that.

I have that problem with my 00 SS and I talkedt o the dealer about it he said it's fine. I talk to my friend mechanic who said I have to go to the dealer under warranty and he said its bad over time. I don't knopw what to do because my extended warranty will charge me for labor if there is nothing and I don't want to take a 400 dollor risk. My car knocks a little while its idling that's the only time I can hear it.
