Free EGR mod question

I did this mod when I changed out my plugs 2 weeks ago, an now the car seems to hop/lop when driving at about 40, its kinda skips, but when I step on the gas it runs ok after a second, would cutting the end off that sticks into the intake make my car run like crap? Any one have an issue with their car after doing this mod?

Re: Free EGR mod question

Did it, and noticed no difference good or bad.
It's a really easy mod and from looking at how it sits directly in the stream of air, removing it should help, but probably no more than 1 or 2 hp I guess...

Re: Free EGR mod question

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak around where the egr goes into the intake. That'll cause the symptoms that you're describing.

Yep, check to make sure the EGR pipe is seated properly in the intake. My buddy didn't have his sealed right and threw an SES light.
