Question Fram vs Holley w/CAI Kit

The other day I saw Fram air filters at Walmart for about $3.50 a pop. They looked very much like the Donaldson paper filter-size, texture, etc. I'm doing the Free Ram Air mod along with the CAI kit and was wondering why people don't just replace the filter with a cheaper Fram? No cleaning hassles.......

I checked the archives and did not find a subject on this.

Couldn't you buy enough Fram's to last you 10 years and not go over($$) what you would pay for a Holley Power Shot?

Opinions welcomed.

True but a dirty holley power shot, or a K&N will outflow a clean fram. So the choice is yours.

Very true since, the k&n filters flow better when they're a little dirty anyway.
