I am sure you can find forged internals for the LS1 on a advertiser on this board. Or go to Google and type 'forged ls1' and hit search.

People have taken stock bottom end LS1s into the 10s.....so is it really necessary? The money would be better for uesd for h/c/LTs. If he plans to go crazy and add s/c & nitrous.....see above.

yea hes def egtting nitrous... maybe down the line single turbo...(hes getting lower compression), im not the techy...lol may be pistons not sure, he knows all the stuff(hes becoming a mechanic as we speak...) well.. he wants to anyway... all depends on money, and yes hes buolding the engine one way.. when he finally decides hes going all out one way... not half assing anything..(like he did on his 97 GT) he wants forged b/c spraying on the GT screwed up his pistons... thats why hes truly beefing this up...

Try www.Lgmotorsports.com. I saw a bunch of forged LS1 parts there. I am sure there are others; Tbyrne, MTI, etc.
