I have it too, and yes its really loud. Sometimes its too much, like on the freeway doing 80 my rpms are at 2400 due to the 3.23's. Then its a little annoying.

I have flows on my car. They guy I bought the car from put them on. It sounds pretty good from the inside and out. And a certain RPM, not sure what is is there is this tone/humm that gets really ennoying, but it's not at cruising speed. On the freeway, my car sounds great from the inside.

I think there is a Magnaflow clip on LS1TECH.com sounds good to me. Hooker sounds really good also. Flowmasters dod not end up flowing to well. Do an internet search for "Camaro Exhaust Sounds" many sites out there to dig though, but you should be able to find them.

Flowmasters = Great sound!

Cutout = Great flow!

Flowmasters + Cutout = Best of both worlds!!

Not sure, but it would stand to reason that not all of the exhaust would go out one side. Therefore the amount that goes through the muffler would encounter restriction. As I think about it, the Borla number may be with a 3/4 plate. It has the potential to get close to a Loudmouth/Dynomouth.

Do a search on the internet for a site called "F-body shop". The site had a number of sound clips of different cat-backs

Well the problem is most are performance minded and want the most gains whether exhaust flow or hp.Flows do sound nice but thats about it.Problems w/em is the flow rate lots of restrictions,baffles,and a dead end which makes cool sound..but creates back pressure.Quality workmanship has come up a few times also as in unequal legnth tips one sticks out further?Granted a flowmaster will be a little better than stock flow wise.But why?
Get performance and good sound and go w/ one of the others.You can get a complete Magnaflow system for $350...I did and really like it.Tough sound,Quality workmanship,lifetime waranty excellent gains what more could you ask for...well Borla kicks a$$ for $600 thou.
Magnaflow

I have the FlowMaster Cat Back and i love it, I know it doesnt flow as good as other CatBacks but i love the sound, I run a 3 in cut out but have a 2 in plate over it, it sounds awesome. at the track though i will un cork her all the way. I dont see why everyone bad mouths the Flowmaster, it sounds good and from what i read it still flows better than the stock exhaust.
