flashing SES light

I had the code pulled but I forgot it. lol. It had something to do with the air or fuel or both. If someone told me the code Id recognize it.

Anyways, Im trying to fix the problem.

HELP!

I guess you could scroll down the list of possibilities at gearchatter.com for a 2K - but you really need the exact code.

Flashing SES is generally a bad missfire.

You're probably running REALLY rich....I had the same issue, the map sensor went bad and fried the Maf and Tps. When the Maf went bad, the engine started dumping massive amounts of fuel and fouled out all the plugs and o2 sensors. Throw in a tps that's acting up......that didn't make for a good day for the Z lol.........

www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic8975.php You could also try changing the 02s side to side and see if the code moves to Bank 2 to verify if it's bad.

Has anyone fixed the problem by changing the O2's or is it usually more complex? Id hate to start buying new parts just to find out the problem isnt getting fixed. Any sure fire ways of finding the problem and fixing it?
