Fitting a supercharger in GeV IV
Has anyone been able to fit a supercharger in a Gen IV? It is my understanding that it won't fit under the cowl. Are some super chargers not as tall as another's?

Some people have used after market K members to get the clearance,I think most are 1800's not the taller 2300's.
I am sure anything is possible though given enough thought and money..

You can fit whatever you want. It just might require an aftermarket hood and/or cutting into the cowl.
Also, note that there are a few centrifugal supercharger options out there which don't mount on top of the engine and so don't pose any problems with hood clearance.

look up the heartbeat supercharger from magnacharger, it uses a TVS 2300 and its 1 7/8ths " taller then the ls3 intake manifold. and hawks has fit a regular tvs2300 in a transam. required kmember spacer and some serious hacking of the cowl.
when ever i get the funds i wanna build a 6L LS2/ with some small bore ls3 heads and slap the heartbeat supercharger on there. love the look. also wanna try and pass good ol' cali sniffer, and still try to spin her to 7k. we'll see.
