Finally got me an Ls1!

I finally got me an ls1, it's a 2001 Black ta with 6 speed.
I traded by 93 formula for it, Ive had it for about 2 weeks.
Sorry for the late post, and have already been to Milan
dragway way in the car an it ran a 13.27 at 105.13, I was\
very pleased with the time it ran. My 93 formula only ran a
13.85 at 99.99.

Re: Finally got me an Ls1!

how was the track at milan, did the car hook well, what was your 60ft times. Yeah my 95 formula vert did 13.4 with a bunch of mods and tht was its best until I put in a cam. You really can't beat the performance these cars have. My only beef is they lack a little down low, where the LT1 was very strong. Not to worry though, I'm sure 4.10 or 4.56 gears would cure that up quick. Is your ride a ram air, if so get rid of those air baffles and I would suggest doing the throttlebody bypass and porting out the throttle body while you wait for some performance parts, oh and don't forget about that pesky skip shift using the old radio shack resistor
