Fair price difference??
I have a loaded 2000 NBM Z28 with 40k on it. A local dealer has a 2001 SS (w/32k). The two cars have basically the same options, t tops, leather, cd. I have looked at the SS, and it isnt a very highly optioned SS. It has the same lid as my Z, no auburn diff...
What do you think is a fair trade difference? The cars are very comparable in condition, both A4. The dealer just called me back and made an offer, and I think it is way out of line. I wont say what it is yet, I want some opinions and I dont want to influence them by saying what the dealer wants.

Depends on the market in your area.
Some may call me cheap, but I wouldn't pay more than $18K for a 00 SS. I don't care what the "book" etc. values are, that price is just based on my own observations about the market in my area (north TX).
I just picked up my 00 NBM Z28 w/35K miles 7 weeks ago for under $15K.
I would give the SS maybe $2-$3K advantage. Not more.
