F1 limits on the 1/4?
Look in sig, All my runs are done on the stock F-1's
I really depends on the track and prepping
I've gone from 2.5's to a 1.593 some weekends just suck
and others are
I'm also trying to get into the 11's on F-1's before I have to get new tires which is soon
Next Saturday were have event so the track should be prepped good, I give it my best and if not Nitto DR's are going on next.
Did I answer you question?

His slip says 1.59 so he believes it.
Even though the rest of the numbers don't match up at all.
With a 1.59 he should have run a 7.5-6 in the 1/8 and a 12.00 or faster in the 1/4. But he doesn't believe the facts.
Just the time slip.
Let him live his fantasy
AL SS590 M6- You said his timeslip doesn't match up. Does he have a timeslip with a 2.0 or so 60ft and then the one with his 1.59 60ft. Because .1 gain in 60ft comes out to about .2 gains in the quarter. I would just like to compare the timeslips to see what is happening.
Here's the run's from that night (Nov 9, 2002)

Maybe if I used the nitrous I could of ran a 7.5-6 1/8
What kind of 60ft do you think I ran?
I seem about right to me with my HP
I can believe those times. The 60fts on street tires were killer. I can only hit those 60ft times with slicks and dumping the clutch at 4000rpm. Usually 60ft foot indicates traction and horsepower. It takes a high horsepower car to turn good 60ft times, I think that is why the other guy says you should run 7.5s.

I'm NOT dissin' you or your car. That's an awesome run for the mods. And even a 1.7anything 60' on regular radials is great.
I'm just saying that the timing machines made an error on your 60'.
This happens alot. For instance when my car was stock and running 104-5mph. I was at the track one time and all of my runs in the left lane reported 108-9mph the right lane reported my normal 104-5mph. Now the 60s, 1/8 et, 1/8mph, and the 1/4 ets were all within range of each other. In that case I just disregarded the high mph as erronious. And never posted it as actual. Because logic said it wasn't. Well I never ran an actual 109 till 2 years and some mods later.
We had one kid in the MI forum that had went to Lapeer (which is notorious for high mph readings) who was bragging all over the place how his stock f-body ran 114 mph. And boy was he dissapointed when he went to a real track and found out that he runs 104-5 just like the average LS1.
AL SS590 M6- That could be have happened. I got a timeslip from Rockingham,NC one time when the lights had messed up and it said I ran the quarter in 0.0<--- I thought to myself you can't get much faster than this.
Our local 1/8 mile track is bad about the mph. I run 90-92 mph in the eigth at Darlington,SC and Rockingham,NC but at the local 1/8 mile track I seem to be able to run 97-99mph. The 1/8 mile times are consitent with Darlington and Rockingham but the speed at the local 1/8 mile track is way off. I just usually disregard speed at the local track and only look at e.t.

I know, but it looks cool on the time slip
The F-1's are getting worn down after 12,700 miles, it's time for some Nitto's and maybe I can pull a 1.4
I have gotten a lot of 1.9's with these tires
