I have factory exhaust on my 2000, my question if i remove the muffler and just run pipe will it be obnoxiously loud or sound good?

 

IMO, it'll be obnoxiously loud...and it'll sound like s**t. That's just me though, some people may like it.

 

that is basically a cutout, and I love the sound of em'.

 

I tried it.... and re-installed the muffler ....

It's a terrible deep tone that just sounds like s***

If you plan on getting a nice muffler you'd probably not weld it to the I-pipe. Weld a pipe connector in place (2.99 at Auto Zone) and clamp it... this way you can put the stock muffler back (who would do that ?) and check out how it sounds with no muffler....
