Exhaust question

Does anyone know whether or not using an aftermarket y-Pipe (such as the SLP) and better flowing cat back system robs any low end torque from these cars? I've been searching the net for numbers but can't find anything. I just remember that when I put duals on my Dakota pickup I had a noticable loss of yank on takeoff but it seemed to run alot better at higher speeds.
Thx for any info ya have!

Well, I put a cutout on my car and picked up 8 Ft/Lbs of torque and 13 RWHP. The HP increase didn't start picking up until 3000 RPM, but the TQ was there immediately at the start of the dyno run (1,000 RPM)

These LS1's love to breathe.
