Exhaust Please Read...

I have a 98 Trans Am and I have 2 gutted catylitic converters on the front and one normal one on the back. If I was to take that one off and put a pipe there. Would that effect my performance of my car. Some guy said it would and others say no. If you could reply back and let me know what ya'll think thanks Jayme. Oh and of you know of anyone that could do that for me like a muffler shop or someone else please let me know. Jayme

Did you buy the car used ... bacause there are only two cats on a LS1 ... Both in the y-pipe.

What you may be describing is probably a resonater in the I-pipe.
Do you have a muffer in the back?? If not then you have a loudmouth exhaust system or variation. The resonater is your muffler.

Good Luck
