I'm intrested in buying a cat back system for my car but dont know what is the best bang for the buck. I want to know what is a good setup but also good on power and sound. Just to let you know with my truck and 85 camaro I was a bit towards Flowmaster but I'm open to suggestions. I just know Flowmaster has that signature sound. Also, if it matters its all stock but later on will have...........throttle body, air intake and filter, underdrive pullys, chip, hypertech programer, better plugs and wires, and a Mass air flow sensor. shop around on the websites, but flowmaster american thunder series seems to be one of the most reasonable with a good tone ($300-350).....borla has a better warranty but you can buy 2 cat back systems for the price of their one. it is nice tho.

 

look into magnaflow, great look with the plished muffler and tips and it's reasonably priced and has good flow and sound.

sounded great on my LT1, waiting to install it on my LS1 although i'll have an offroad pipe on this so it may sound different.

 

SLP Loudmouth, great with the stock manifolds and crazy insane with LT. I f'in love it!
