exhaust

Is there any differance between the horsepower gained from a 3" hooker catback and 3" brands that can cost over twice as much?

If not, then what other factors make is more expensive?

the hooker flows very well, so the gain would probably be minimal...

what you are typically paying for is material quality. the hooker is well known for rusting out, even the tips. where a system like Borla is stainless steel...which ain't cheap

For the most part all Cat Back's make about the same Power. If anything it would have to do with the Muffler, one may be more restrictive than another.

So basically a Hooker Cat Back will most likely perform just as well as a $700 GMMG Cat Back.

By rust, do you mean for simply cosmetic reasons, or does it impede performance?

Well if the guts of the muffler are not a material like stainless steel wool then over a period of time they may rust out ( it prolly would take a long time) and clog up and kill performance. I got my stainless LM shipped to my door for like $330, and it is prolly the best performer out there. PM me if you want to buy a brand new one I have collecting dust in the gradge.....Good luck
