I have a 99 and recently installed a Bassani (no cat) y pipe.
My next project is to complete the catback with a stainless system.
I don't like the SLP Loudmouth (it's too loud at crusing speed)
I have heard Magnaflow being mentioned a lot lately as a comparable alternative to Borla or Corsa.
I like to hear your thought.

I would just stick a magnflow muffler on. From the factory the catback is stainless(I've read) so if you catback looks ok, just replace the muffler and tips(if you want). Maybe add a cutout with the money saved. An electric one is nice, but I installed a queit muffler and still have the stock y-pipe so I usually leave it open.

If your interested in some hooker shorty headers to go with your new y-pipe I'll be selling mine soon. They have a CARB # too if need to pass strict emmisions. Just ordered my LT's.
