Slp loudmouth worth the money?? I am between this and the hooker and i have read all of the search results. I just wanted to sum it up and figure out which one to order. Does ne1 know if SLP will pass emissions and inspection..

Though i dont own one i know people that do and would definitly say worth the money. Nice tone of a fairly stock car. Nice looking and good price. It shouldnt have any problems passing inspection since mufflers have nothing to do with emissions essentially.

Cool

I'd say it is purely matter of personal preference.

One is loud while the other is not that loud. Performance gain will most likely be pretty similar.

Good luck!

Yup, I agree with 95GRNZ.

If you want very loud exhaust note get the Loudmouth. If you want quite at idle and at wot deep muscular sound, get the Hooker exhaust.

I have the LM and love it. Has no drone that others complain of and if it did Id just turn the CD player up louder. That being said I also have a chambered muffler I can switch out with the resonator in about 15 min and love the 60s sound it gives me. As for the Hooker Vs LM. The LM is the way to go absolutly no restictions on flow as there is no muffler.

Thumbs up

BORLA baby, there is no substitute. Nothing else sounds like it. But as was mentioned, it's all a matter of personal preference. I strongly urge you to at least listen to Borla before you make a final decision. It comes with a million-mile warranty (basically will never rust) and is adjustable with bad a$$ looking tips. I've never heard anything better on a Camaro than Borla.

BORLA

Lm is stainless

Hooker isn't and tends to rust out faster

I was following an SS with the LM the other day and the sound was pretty raspy. The corsa has a great sound, but its crazy expensive. I'd say get a flowmaster 80 series if you want a really good sound for not a lot of money.

LM sounds awesome when your getting on it..

Gets a little tiring sometimes around town, espeically when you just want to drive around "normally"

if your highway driving, at 2000-2500 rpms, the drone will be very apparent.. So for example, if you do alot of hgihway driving in a 6 speed with stock gears at 80 mph, you might get sick of it.

I love it, but if I can do it again, maybe get the quieter SLP 2OLT..

But I get lots of comments on how nice the LM sounds.. Oh, I replaced the resonator with a bullet muffler, that smoothed it out a bit..
