knocking
ticking

I'm not too knowledgable about digging into engines that way, but I don't think it's your bottom end.
I think that something just wasn't put back in place right, or something like that. I'd say open it up and take a look around. For your sake, I hope thats it.

Is it knocking as in ping knock or bearing knock? Ping knock could be due to incompatible ECM programming now that you have the head/cam combo in. Did you have it tuned?
If I was going to bet a dollor though, I would still expect a problem with the cam bearings, lifters, rocker arms or the valve springs especially. That was the last change.
I'd pull the valve covers off and inspect the valve springs, rockers and push rods. You might have had bearing failure on the cam and now you're getting some play in there. That would also cause a loss of oil pressure. Or you had a spring failure and now the valve train is knocking itself around. If your cam has a lot of lift you might also be getting piston to valve clearance issues causing bent valves and pushrods, misfiring due to loss of compression and noisy valve train.
But if the oil pressure is a lot lower now than it was when everything was just installed, you probably have cam bearing issues. I doubt that you would have bottom end problems due to oil starvation unless the pressure was VERY low. And it doesn't sound like that is the case. Either way though, it sounds like the engine is due for disassembly.

stickshift ... how many miles have you put on the car since speed inc. installed the mods?? if your knock happened right away, there is a very good chance they installed something wrong...on the other hand if you have been beating the **** out of the car since you got it back from them and put on some miles, then the bottom end probably just couldnt hold all the extra hp from the new mods. sorry to hear it

my car has 28k miles all together
im getting a new engine for now nad ill build this one up
and yone know where to get some writeups and how tos on pulling and engine and doing a stroker?
Something sounds fishy to me, unless you was using your NOS, I think your install wasnt done "professionally". Im not blaming them but there is a lot of things they could have done wrong. It is easy to ruin cam bearing when installing a camshaft if its not done right or having debris run though your engine blocking an oil passage and starving that main bearing of oil ect... Unless you did something to really hurt the car in 60 miles then something is not right. before you cam/head install you had 100 shot of nitrous, this is going to be harder on you engine then the 75 hp the cam and heads gave you (estimated). I would really raise a fuss at speed inc.... but in there defense, if you went out a tested your car with the new cam/heads and using your nitrous- then it probably just exceeded the limits on your stock bottom end
in any case good luck!

Good luck with the new engine. I think you were just a victim of a faulty engine. Couldn't handle the power from the heads and cam.
Here is some info:
Stroker Kits (not LS1, Jeep, basically the same idea, good info)
Motor Pulling (might help)
Pulling an LS1 will be a little bit harder because the engine is under the dash. All you really need to do is remove the radiator, fans, all that so you have enough room to move the engine forward. Remove all wires to the engine. Remove anything to make the engine easier to get out, and the new one in. Unbolt from mount, y-pipe, and tranny and you should be good to go. Definitely need an engine crane thing.
Good luck man!
