I'm sure that this question is on here somewhere and I'm just not looking in the right spot. I have a 1999 3.8l Camaro with a 5 spd. I love it, but sadly it just doesn't have what I want. I was wondering what it would take to swap my 3800 to a V8. My question is what engines would be my best bet for swapping. Obviously a LS1 would be up there, but I am also looking for the possibilities of something different. If I do that swap, what all am I going to have to do to make it happen?

For a 99 model, it may not be all that bad, though.

You already have the twin cooling fans, unless you have no AC in the car, you have rear discs and LSD, it's just getting that v6 and tranny out that;'s the really hard part.
