engine backfire...Please help me

heres the problem. First of all my car is hard to start when its cold like its flooding, then when it does start i get a puff of white smoke comes out, but after warm up its fine any suggestions. Also the big problem is since I rebuilt the motor it backfires at around 4000 rpm's then it shoots a flame and kills the motor. But when I do a burnout I can redline it without any problems. Its just when I try to romp on it. I already had my computer tuned, but some times it revs up on its own. Please help

Mods are: SLP loudmouth exhaust, off-road pace setter headers, t-rex cam, vette heads, free mods, 8mm plug wires, ngk plugs

Re: engine backfire...Please help me

Ask them if they altered the timing

Honestly on a car with a big of cam as you have, I would rather have someone like Futral or MADZ28 tune it, those two would be able to tune it to perfection
