eibach or H&R
eibach or H&R
hey there. i was just wondering which set of springs are the best when considering handling and getting the car as low as possible. a friend told me that the eibachs get mushy after a while and dont perform as well as the H&Rs do. i would like to get the car as low as possible but the H&Rs only lower it 1.25 inches, where the sportlines are 1.8 inches. any feed back would be appreciated. thanks.

DMS has a good reputation and their springs are pretty cheap. Their website is http://dynamicmotorsports.com/
I had sportlines on my SS and was very satisfied with them. Eibach claims to make their springs with a special process and special machine that prevents them sagging or "sitting" over time. Eibach definitely has the reputation for making a very good quality spring. I've also heard nothing but praise about the DMS springs. But if you are going for the lowest drop, the sportlines are lowest spring on the market to my knowledge at a 1.8" drop.
BTW I have pics in my sig of my SS in my sig. The pics on the grass are deceiving as too how low the car is because I was on a slight hill. The ones in my driveway are accurate though.
