Cool EGR removel

If you take all the egr stuff off a 98' LS1, will it run messed up or just throw codes???

it won't run any differently, but it will throw a SES light.

anyone know where i can get EGR block off plates? I dont need the ones for the headers, but i do need the one for the intake and the one under the egr box or pump thats on the passanger side front of the motor.

I know they used to sell a pretty good kit on ebay with all 3 block off plates for the manifolds, and a rubber seal for the intake... not sure if it's still there.

ls1speed sells a good kit.

these guys sale some egr block off plates to. I couldnt find the plates listed on ls1speedcom so i did a search and ended up buying from these guys instead.

lol they're on the exhaust page tucked between some catbacks and header bolts, but oh well. LOL
