EGR AND AIR Blockoffs

What do you get out of blocking off the air and egr systems and would it have any negative side effects

An SES light on the dash until you get the codes programmed out.
Performance wise you gain nothing. It does simplify working under the hood, cleans the look a little and drops some weight.

Agree with Al. No performance gains, but it does make things look nicer under the hood.

As the above people said, no performance gains except weight reduction, cleans up the engine bay. Less to deal with.
