Why not get the TSP Rumbler Cat-back? It's really cheap and supposably sounds a lot better than the Loudmouth.

$300 ($299) for the aluminized Rumbler or $350 for a stainless loudmouth.

It might sound good, but how does it flow?

It's a straight through muffler, it flows identically to the loudmouth one would assume. They're basically the exact same setups except that the TSP Rumbler has an 18" bullet instead of a 12" bullet.

Question

The Loudmouth has NO muffler...just a tuned resonator. Sounds OK with cats, but awful with an off-road pipe. The DynoMouth is just a Loudmouth with a DynoMax bullet welded in place of the resonator. It doesn't help too much...

I've had both the Loudmouth and the DynoMouth and am now looking at true duals. Rasp and drone suck...

you were worried about drone with lm, the true duals will drone way worse unless you go outthe rear and not turndowns. loudmouth with chambered muffler in place of resonator

LS1 + Loudmouth =

Worst sounding combo in the world
There's no "definition" to the sound whats so ever. It's just...... noise. Not good noise either. Just a loud, raspy, sloppy, annoying sound. Whatever you do, don't put loudmouth for your LS1. If money is an issue, go with hooker. Otherwise, you should look into a Corsa system. That's about the only 2 exhaust systems I've heard on an LS1 that sound half decent. All other's sound like @ss !

I like my MagnaFlow cat back

It came with the car when I bought it. It sounds great, but isn't very loud Which is good since I drive the super-slab all day and don't want to listen to it.

If it were me, I would just keep your stock exhaust and buy a an electric cutout, loud when you want it, queit when you don't
