Dynomouth

Hey everybody, I recently did the custom dynomouth install and for the most part I am very pleased. However, I do have one complaint and maybe someone could help me. The exhaust sonds mean most of the time, but sometimes it sounds very crappy when i get on the throttle...like it goes from mean and deep to a light raspy sound. The bullet muffler was installed just above the rear axle and the exhaust guy kept the stock piping that went over the axle, and from there buil the custom dual piping. I don't know if that could be a problem...other than that i love it...loud as hell

Congrats on the DM.. Now what I want to ask you is does your car still have the cats ? Do you have LT Headers/ORY ?? And did you get the 12" Bullet or 18" Bullet ?? If you have either gutted the cats or using ORY w/ 12" Bullet is normal from what I have heard.. I have the 18" Bullet w/ Stock Manifolds, Stock Cats and my car does not have any raspiness to it at all.. Or it could be the custom ypipe out back is leaking a little (does it pop a little @ WOT ??). Trust me it sounds even meaner outside the car

Sweet.. I almost bought some tips like that but unfortunately the only place I seen them for sale was from the local exhaust shop that did my DM install for me and I did not want to spend $ 150 for a set of tips either, so I just opted for some edelbrock chrome flat oval tips part number from jegs.com 350-5592.. Which at first I did not think they were going to look right on my car but after they were installed, it kind of reminds me of a Camaro w/ WS6 Tips..

Just be careful when you Floor your car, as just normal taking off in front of Sheriffs and Chp officers has given me an evil eye...
