Dynoed car today

Just wanted to get a baseline before I started throwing all the big mods in.

291.7 rwhp @ 5550 RPM
297.1 rwtq @ 4400 RPM

That's with all the mods in the sig. Seems pretty decent for a near stock A4 right? Just wondering.

Sounds about right to me. Considering you have an A4 and will lose a little more rwhp through the drivetrain.

I would have thought you would be a little higher.. at least breaking the 300 mark. Did you get your air/fuel ratio? I know the a4 sucks a little extra power out, but I still think you should be putting down a little more. Maybe that is just me though..

Congrats!

i wouldnt be too concerned about the numbers being low. all dyno's are different. some are more stingy than others.

those are good numbers for a 99 A4 no matter which dyno you were on.

Well everyone, as far as the A/F ratio, we never hooked any of that up, I didn't wann do any tuning with so little mods. And as far as the dyno being stingy, that could very well be. You see, the place I went just got the dyno installed two weeks ago, and I was their first 'paying customer'. The guy that owns it had his S2000 on it for about 50 runs he said along with a FWD Talon. But yeah, I actually got about 20 runs for free because the software was messing up. I almost had a heartattack the VERY first run Idid. Came up as 275rwhp Yeah, really pissed me off, but after the guy started figuring stuff out it went up to 280, then to 285-287, then the last three 'paid for' runs were in the low 290's. So yeah, I dunno. I also thought the torque was kinda low because I thought that was about where LS1's are from the factory, like 345 or so. But yeah... Just gotta roll out the good stuff now.

The wide heavy wheels your running probably lowered the number alittle, especially the torque #'s.

How much would the rims knock it down? Couldn't be too much could it?
