dynatech headers

hey guys what do u know about dynatech headers. I have been chekin them out and they have 1 3/4" race headers or stepped headers that go from 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" The race headers have no AIR tube or EGR provisions. I'm liking these headers $430 for the race headers and $480 for the stepped headers they are already coated to unless there is something wrong with the headers I think I found the headers for me.

Dynatech's are basically a "race version" of the FLP's...or you could say they're FLPs without the emissions provisions, y-pipe, cats...and for that price ($430-480), they're probably not going to come with collectors either. They're pretty much designed to be run open, IOW, no Y, no cats, no exhaust, just an open header.

If you do plan on using these headers and running around on the street w/ exhaust...I think you'd have to get a Y-pipe made because I don't think anyone makes one that'll fit them. Also, you'd have to buy the collectors and they would just be slip-on's so there's a pretty good chance that they would leak a little.

Unless, you have a race car or a "track only" car, I would look elsewhere for headers.
