Are Double Diamond SFC's worth it?

Hey guys, I want to get some SFC's for my car. It has t-tops so its already stiffer than my convertible was/is pre SFC's, but should I really spend the extra money for the KBDD style? I was thinking of going with some boxed BMR's as an alternative. What do you think?

Get KBDD's. I have them & love them. After I had them installed the car felt so solid, it was awesome. Nothing wrong with BMR's but the DD design does make the car more solid.

For a street car the DD design is overkill. Its just more weight for you to be hauling around. Any tubular or boxed SFC will work just as well on a street car. No if your car is primarily an auto-x car then yes having DD SFC's will benefit your car.

After being rear ended last month (Friday the 13th, June) I feel that the KBDD had saved my car from having more damage done to her. I love my KBDD SFC'S. It stiffened up the car. I use my car as a daily driver and an occasional run down the track to vent. My best is 13.7@103. That's with street tires and my mods. I guess it's your chioce onwhat you want. I'm sure either one is as good as the other.

I've got SpectacleSolutions.net DD sub-frames and love them.

Ive never driven in a car that had DDs, so this is just an opinion ... but unless you're HIGHLY modified, the DDs are overkill for the price. So you have to ask yourself if you want the best period, or the best for your particular set up. I'm not slow, but I'm not scary fast either ... the BMRs work great for me.
