Don't tell me it's a head gasket......
Don't tell me it's a head gasket......
OK I've had my Formula for about 1200 miles, and it only has like 11K on the clock. It's an 01.
I bought it about 2 months ago and they obviously changed the oil because they gotta do it before selling it....
Anyways I'm driving home from the gym and low oil light comes on. I check and it takes me 2 quarts to get it to where it should be
I don't think I'm burning oil, because wouldn't I smell it? I think to oil leak is when I drive because I havent noticed any puddles under my car....if the oil is leaking while driving could it be a head gasket, or would my gauges go nuts?

Oh, OK..................see what us stupid Canadians know?!
Up here, a jug is 4 litres, which (I think
) is close to 4 quarts?
(or 1 gallon, which is 4 qts, right?).
I know I need 3 jugs for every 2 oil changes, because I basically use 1 and a half jugs per oil change
.

Mobil 1 comes in 5 quart jugs now. I think the book calls for 5 quarts on an oil change, but mine takes a full 6 quarts.
Of course, I let mine drain for 30 minutes. If they do a "10 minute oil change" then it probably does only take 5 quarts.
