Does the stall only work on the 1/4 mile?

Just like it says, will it work for the flat spot at 30 mph? Other words, will it help on the "fly" also, as well as from a stop?

Definately will. Get a nice 3400-3600 stall with a 2.0 - 2.5 STR and your going to lose the dead spot, get better shift extensions and lose traction like a ****

Ya it will shave about .4-.7 seconds off the 1/4 mile depending on mods. It should help you out through the powerban from what I understand.

With a Yank 3200, I can punch it at 30mph and get sideways. I'd say that there IS no dead spot!

Oops, I guess that will be my next venture. I'm waiting on lowering springs, rumbler cat back,3.73 gears, lid(carbon fiber), and the preditor diablo.

What? In first gear? Most don't drive around at 30 mph in a gear that will "put it sideways" from a punch.

At 15 mph maybe. But at 30 mph with stock HP/TQ the only thing going sideways in a M6 is your butt if it itches and your trying to scratch it on your drivers seat

Re: Does the stall only work on the 1/4 mile?

I will chime in again though. I think for an auto tranny, a stall converter is the best mod you can do. It was a VERY noticable improvement and I dropped .4 in the 1/8th! stall

Reving it up is cheating I could do that too but it's called a neutral drop in an A4 and that would kill my tranny
