My SLP Headers don't bang

I have SLP headers with their high flow cats and I have never had a problem with them banging. The headers are on a 2002 TA WS6.

Some do, mine used too. They hit right on the drivers side floorboard reinforcement where the y-pipe meets the off road pipe.

Sometimes the Y-pipe will hit the floor board on the SLP headers. You'll have to loosen the clamps and use a block of wood to pry the Y-pipe down then retighten everything. Also check to see if your tranny mount, torque arm mount, etc are tight.

slp headers hitting floor

I have slp longtubes and high flow cats, and have the same problem. Only its they y pipe hitting the drivers side floor not the header. I'm gonna try the 2x4 trick. ( unbolt the y-pipe and cats, shove a short piece of 2x4 between the floorboard and the y-pipe, retighten all the bolts, and then knock the 2x4 out)
