do I need a tune?

my car was pretty much stock non ram air a4 T/A. This summer when I painted it, I got the Raptor hood and last week borla catback. I had a few other bugs to work out and only driven about 40 miles total. It is noticeably more powerful and revs much faster and thats my question, it shifts very very very late. Will the car adjust to the new exhaust and ram air with more miles or do I need to do something else?

I have never heard of a car needing a tune after those minor changes. Shifting characteristics do require a reprogram

If you want to change shift points then, yes you'll need a tune but for very small mods like exhaust and lids you won't benefit too much from a tune.

If it hits the rev limiter then it's late. If it doesn't then it's fine.

Maybe a tune would fix it but it could very well be a trans issue.
