Im thinkin about buing a 98 SS and im trying to check if its ever been wrecked. Dont all factory hoods usually have a black heat shield....and the other parts like fenders and things usually have that little square bar code like sticker if its original..am i correct?

 

No they don't since they are not a factory hood, they are put on at SLP's shop along with the spoiler and what other options might have been ordered. No way to tell if it's been replaced. If you want to be sure it was a SS to start with look for the WU8 in the door panel.
