Post Do all 2000 camaro SS's come with slp exhaust?

As the subject says....do they all have the slp exhaust or is it an option? Is this system any good? Is it just as good as other cat-back kits?
thanks
scott

No - it's a option.
I have it on my car (SLP Dual/Dual) I like it. It has been proven to give good flow, better than most, but the down side is the thing is heavy. Another good thing is you can pick one up pretty cheap used. I bought mine used - had 500 miles on it for less than $200.

Yes, I think they do, but SLP makes 2 exhausts for the SS. I believe the one known as "dual-dual" is the non-standard and better flowing of the two.

Question

OK, Call me a rookie but please define a dual/dual exhaust for me where the SS is concerned. I look at the back of my car and I see 4 exhaust tips sticking out. Is this the dual/dual you are refering to or is it something else entirely? Thanks,
Kris

Yes, that is likely the SLP dual-dual performance exhaust unless modified (check the passenger's side door for a SLP label to confirm this). It has 2 slash tips per side compared to the normal SS (also SLP) exhaust.

Yes, that is the Dual/Dual (4 tips)

I'm pretty sure that the standard SS (2 chrome tip) exhaust is a GM Factory exhaust - nothing to do with SLP.
