Dex-cool
Well they probably wouldn't market it if it would cause problems given liability and lawsuit issues. I'm sure it would be fine.
I just did a cam install and added this Prestone stuff since it is readily available and not terribly expensive.

Yeah, i'm not particularly fond of Dex-Cool myself. I replaced a intake gasket on a 2000 Malibu (3.1V6) that was fubar'd by Dex-Cool (actually a lawsuit on that one too). Turned it into orange jello, had a hell of a time flushing all that crap out. Almost put in just plain old Ethelyne Glycol into the Camaro, but figured I'd give this Prestone **** a try.
I think the problems with Dex-Cool are that if any oil at ALL gets into it, it turns into a mess... Just a slight weep and you have this gelling problem or whatever happens to it.
