DD Setup??

Question DD Setup??

Looking to go with the TR224/224 114lsa cam along with pacesetter LT's and a catted y-pipe. right now I have just a lid and LM1 catback. My goal is to get around the 375-380 rwhp range without the world knowing I have a cam while still being a DD car. I was also thinking of going with the LM2 muffler in place of my LM1 resonator. Also how would that cam act with 3.90 gears in my 2000 SS M6.

Just need some thoughts and opinions on how the car will sound and drive and any other combo that work with my goal in mind, Thanks!

I suggest a more restrictive exhaust system to be quieter, as to not attract attention (solves one goal, something like the dual/dual) And go with a bigger cam maybe from futral motorsports and mail order tuning, with 3.73's. It will be very DD-able, not waste gas, and not be obvious

for your goal that should be ideal. although i'd throw an ls6 intake in the mix to get the potential out of the cam.

the car should move VERY nice on the street with that cam, sound relatively tame and be reliable to boot.

i would suggest a different muffler all together than what the LM is designed with.
i'd suggest a borla XR1....will help tone the exhaust down with the cam.

That cam along with an LS6 intake and a good tune should easily get you the power you want (maybe a little more), and still be very tame. There will be a very slight lope to it though, so it will not sound like a stock motor.

That'll happen easily with an LS6 intake manifold. Change the muffler to something like a Magnaflow or a Dynomax Ultraflow or even a Borla XR1.

You can even go bigger on the cam like a Futral F11 or F13.
