Dayton ZR tires

Does anyone have these tires or know anything about them? I need some new ones and the place where I take my car has them for relatively cheap but I'm not sure of the quality of them.

Thanks.

BTW, I posted this in the lounge too because I figured it would get some faster responses but I know there's a few people here that don't browse the lounge area too often and I would like your opinions too.

I have them. They arent bad. They arent great either, but you get what you pay for i guess. They dont wear too fast, but wet traction isnt that great. And im not sure, but i have this fear of taking corners too fast and losing control, but im not sure if its the tires that scare me, or if im just a big pu$sy. I dont care for how they look though.....kinda blah, if you know what i mean...

I think I had them (previous owner) before my Michelins. When they get down to the cords they are a handful. Overall they weren't bad, not great either.

If you're really strapped for cash, and cant afford anything better at the time you buy tires, then yes these will do fine. But tires arent somewhere you should skimp on. Tires are the only thing that connects you to the road, and for saftey reasons you should always try to buy the best that you can afford. These tires were on the car when I bought it, so when it comes time for new tires, i will only buy the Dayton ZR if im broke. Yokohama AVS 1000 are a great tire, and not too pricey. The only complaint i have about Yokohamas, is that that they wear faster than most tires, but they have awesome grip, wet or dry.

If you shop smart (tire rack) most name brand tires cost no more than private labels. Tire prices at most retail outlets are very inflated. No pun intended.

Well the only reason why I'm buying them is because I'm broke. I'm not expecting these to last too long on my car. Hopefully I'll have my Firestone Firehawks back on my Z soon (which is what I have now).

Thanks for the advice, all.
